Following a brief improvement in the morning, widespread showers and thunderstorms are expected this afternoon and this evening, some of which may be heavy. Temperatures are falling, with highs ranging from 21°C to 28°C.

On Wednesday, the weather will remain changeable with plenty of cloud. Showers will keep moving in from the south-west, and isolated thunderstorms are also possible. From the Unterland to the Ahrntal valley and the Dolomites, heavy rainfall is possible, whilst there will be less rain towards the upper Vinschgau valley. Temperatures this afternoon will range between 17° and 23°.

The weather is set to improve on Thursday. Whilst sunshine will prevail in the southern parts of the region, conditions will remain slightly changeable along the alpine crest. A gusty north wind will blow in some valleys. On Friday, it will remain partly sunny, with thicker clouds lingering at times in the northern parts of the region. Saturday will start off changeable in the north, but it will become sunny everywhere with summery temperatures as the day progresses. On Sunday, the mostly sunny and summery weather will continue.
